Oh, was this doublheader a treat.First of all, we won both games, but that wasn't the best part. The best part was that we had the division clinched, so these games were meaningless. So I sat in the mezzanine, reading the Sunday paper between pitches, no cares in the world. It was a nice rest, because we were about to embark on a three-week journey of intensity. There were no "laughers" in the 13 postseason games. How many times did the Mets fall behind first? The ride was 50% exhilarating, 50% excrutiating, and worth every minute!!!! Ah, just the thought of sitting in the Big Shea with a 20-game lead...
