Seaver's Status No Cause for Alarm
Newsday, January 18, 1984
The Mets have left Tom Seaver unprotected from the re-entry draft compensation pool. They figure that the White Sox need an infielder more than a starting pitcher. Newsday's Marty Noble says it's unlikely that Seaver will be lost in the draft. He was wrong.
