The Ultimate Mets Database respects your privacy. What little information we gather from our visitors will be disclosed on this page.

Here are some of the things we don't do:

  • We don't use cookies.
  • We don't track your IP address.
  • We don't even track what kind of browser you're using.
  • We don't track your geographic location.
The only thing we ever ask of you is your name and e-mail address when you share your memories of a player or of a particular game. You are not required to enter your real name. Most people don't, and choose to enter a pseudonym instead. The e-mail address is not required. If you enter it, anybody who reads your comments will be able to e-mail you. Your e-mail address will also be visible to anybody who access the page on which it's displayed, and it may be collected by junk e-mailers. It is up to you to weigh the benefit of open communication with other Mets fans, against the possibility of an increase in spam to your mailbox.

If you do post your e-mail address, and later change your mind, you may request that we remove your e-mail address from your postings, and we'll gladly do so.

The Ultimate Mets Database does not send bulk e-mails to the addresses that it collects. We will sometimes contact someone who has "shared their memories" to comment specifically on the contents of their comments, but in the vast majority of cases we do not do so.

The Ultimate Mets Database may partner with third parties to help support our free services. On occasion, users may choose to purchase services from third parties that are publicized through The Ultimate Mets Database. This privacy policy does not apply to information users give to third parties that may be affiliated with us. Any information users give to third parties is governed by the rules of the merchant's privacy policy. The Ultimate Mets Database takes no responsibility for information given to third parties.
