Joe's daughter went to the same college I did, joined the same major I had already gotten a degree in. Nice girl, very quiet, had a better overall GPA than anyone in the major (I think it's still the highest). I saw him at her graduation ceremony. He looked the same as when he was with the Braves. I remember a game where he leapt for a high throw and the Met runner (I think Mazzilli or Youngblood) ran into him, flipped him head over heels.
