Mookie Wilson had barely left for Toronto when they gave this clown his sainted #1 jersey. I always resented Thornton for that.

Another Ricky Otero, DJ Dozier type with speed who couldn't hit. If speed was all it took, Herb Washington would be in the Hall of Fame.

Sports Illustrated's Jeff Pearlman recently called Thornton "the worst baseball player of all time." Somehow, I don't think Pearlman ever saw Alvaro Espinoza.
