Erika I met Aaron in 1995 when he was with the Mets. He was so sweet and signed a card for me and briefly chatted. I was devastated when he was traded away but I kept an eye on how he was doing. He also signed some autographs via mail. Now with the Devil Rays, I got a chance to see him at Shea thru interleague play and it was very exciting! Without a doubt he's one of the nicest guys!
January 5, 2001 Watching this guy come up through the minors he had star written all over him. It's amazing how some guys never pan out to be close to what they are projected. Ledesma was just one of those guys who was great in the minors but couldn't it in the majors.

August 3, 2002 I remember back when I had season tickets for the Mets some years ago, I met him a few days after his big league debut. He signed a Topps rookie card I had, I remember. That card is on display in my bedroom. A few years later, when he was playing for Baltimore and I went to a game there, he was playing shortstop in place of Mike Bordick. I had brought my card from a few years back and got his attention. I don't think he remembered who I was despite showing him the card, but it was still a thrill meeting him after so many years and with a different team at a different stadium. I read on the internet somewhere that he's playing for the independent Long Island Ducks. Maybe I can catch up with him again someday.
August 27, 2002 i've been to a few long island ducks games this year and aaron is playing quite well for them he is still young enough to get back to the big leagues maybe he'll make it back to the Mets.
November 25, 2005 I remember watching the game when Aaron got his first ML hit. He had such a big smile on his face, you just had to feel good for him. Thought he would have a great career.
