October 10, 2002 The only thing I really remember about him is that he had a good looking throwing arm. Couldn't hit a lick and you could tell that from the get go. The Mets traded the once high prospect Blaine Beatty for this guy.
April 24, 2005 His brother Brent taught a high school media class out in Oregon, as well as JV girls basketball. He also was coaching football, and before a game Jeff game in the lockerroom and Brent introduced him. I didn't even know he had played in a few Mets games until Brent, a close friend, told me later. I kind of followed him after that through his brother, that's all I know of the guy though.
April 27, 2007 I remember when he was sent back down to the minors, somone on WFAN said "The Jeff Barry era in New York is over."
