Reid is a really nice guy. I met him when he was pitching for Calgary and Calgary came to play the Sacramento RiverCats in 2000. He was called up to Florida before Calgary came back and somehow have lost track of him. If anyone has any information on where Reid is now, I would really appreciate knowing. I was really hoping that he would make it big with the Marlins!

Interesting to note: despite averaging under six innings a start, Cornelius got the decision in every one of his ten starts for the Mets!

Was so happy to learn that Reid is a pitching coach in the Florida Marlins orginiazation.

I met Reid while he was a pitcher with the Calgary Cannons. The Cannons were playing the Sacramento River Cats at the Oakland Coliseum. We happened to be sitting in the section where all of the pitchers were sitting and charting and had a really nice conversation with him.

Reid was very warm and friendly and was so easy to get to know. Reid was called up to the Marlins before the Cannons came back to Raley Field so were not able to see him again. Hopefully, someday we will be able to meet Reid again and wish him all of the best in his career.
