HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
I liked Joe. He was pretty good for us in '97. Just look at his numbers. They're good for a middle relief guy. I thought he had a future in the bullpen. I was disappointed to hear he wasn't back and that he never caught on anywhere else.
April 1, 2003 Thanks for the comments guys. I left after '97 to go to Japan. I was an older rookie and I had to follow the money over there. I did come back and was with the Brewers, Mets, and Diamondbacks organizations. I now am a pro pitching coach with the Bridgeport Bluefish.
March 5, 2005 Good luck in Bridgeport Joe! Thought you were going to stick around awhile. Dependable lefties are hard to find. Did what you needed to. Can't be faulted for that!
May 1, 2009 I heard Joe is coaching assitant with the Milwaukee Brewers now.
