I live in Colorado Springs; I saw this guy pitch in AAA and with the Rockies. He's got a live arm but no control. The guy couldn't hit the ground if he fell down. The Mets got taken on this deal (Yoshii for Jones).

Well, I wouldn't say the Mets were taken. Colorado is exactly the wrong place for a gopher ball picher like Yoshii who is 4-10 right now. But, Bobby M. (I think the M is for Moron) Jones gave us probably the most aggravating and downright awful start this year on July 4th against Florida. Staked to a 5-0 lead, this idiot gets the first 2 outs in the 4th inning when he starts walking people. After two walks, Bobby M. gives up a 3-run homer to a guy hitting about .160. It got worse after that. Balls starting flying around the park....the Marlins scored 9 unanswered runs in 2 innings. Mets lose 9-8. You suck Bobby M. You called Valentine a joke. The only joke is your lousy pitching. Good riddance Bobby M. We are a one-Bobby Jones team now.

I like Bobby. If you remember, he was pretty good when he was brought up in September. I hope he isn't injured for much longer, because anything is better than that guy Rose that we saw against Montreal.

Remember when Bobby Valentine made Bobby Jones cry?

There's something about guys who grew up being Mets fans as kids that you love to see them on the team because you know they love being here. But at the same time they all seem to suck. Bobby M. was as bas as bad could be. I always hoped he could live up to his potential but he never did. He's lucky to be getting a major league pay check.

The lefty Bobby Jones. Unlike the right-handed version, who could pitch well occasionally, this one couldn't stay in the majors with Colorado. And that's saying something!

How abvout this? He pitches for Boston this season. Four consecutive walks, the hook, and a one way bus ticket back to Jersey.
