I've seen enough!!!! Can we bring somebody else up to pitch for Leiter the next time around? This guy sucked with the Mariners and was horrible yesterday giving up 8 runs in 2+ innings. I don't want to see him again!

How bad must Grant Roberts be if they called up Hinchliffe before him? Of course, as bad as Hinchliffe's start was against the Brewers, it was better than Roberts's first start in a Mets uniform against Montreal last year. At least Hinchliffe made it out of the first inning.

While scoring last night's 3-0 Met win against Milwaukee, I heard Bob Murphy mention the game that Hinchliffe started against the Brew Crew earlier this year.

"He has never been heard from again," said Murph. I think 99 and 44/100th percent of Met fans (including myself) prefer it this way.

Sorry, Brett; it's nothing personal. Just business.

I was just browsing this site and Brett's name reminded me of the time I drove all the way to Milwaukee to see Miller Park and it would have been my first game to see Al Leiter start. Unfortunately, it happened to be Hinchliff and I saw 8 home runs that game.
