Has all the talent in the world, and great stuff, but he just can't stay healthy. Moreno had trouble pitching two days in a row, and was abit inconsistant. Time is running out on Moreno to prove he could be a solid setup man.

I am from his home town and I have seen him pitching way more than everybody else; I follow his games and know the way he pitches and used to pitch. The ball in the strike zone is to be hitted. Because this or that person made a hit on him does not mean that he is a bad pitcher or needs to be removed from the team. No pitchers have perfect records.

Orber also has an incredible fast ball and excellent control that few people in the majors have. After he had surgery he came back and improved a lot, this shows the class of the player that we are talking about. Also Orber has great personality and sense of humor.

I do not agree with this step back to the AAA league again. He needs the chance to show how good he is. I hope he gets over the sprain. He, the Mets, Venezuela and baseball needs him to get back. Hope to see you pitching again Orber, good luck. By the way Happy Birthday and remember your buddies from Oricao.

I met numerous players and got their autographs as they stop by Durham with their team. I have to say Orber is only one of a few baseball players I've seem with braces. That was before he ever had a cup of coffee, so I assume he don't have them anymore. Good kid, didn't like to talk much though. Hope he'll make it back to the Big League soon.

Orber is still pitching in Mexico, although his last action in the U.S. minors came with the Cardinals' top farm club, Memphis, in 2006. (He also got invited to the Tigers' camp in 2008.)

He has a baseball clinic in Florida: www.orbermoreno.com.
