No comments about myself - just want to say hello to all the guys that I played with, and for, more importantly.
A special thank you to Bob Apodaca, Randy Nieman, Bill Latham, Jesus' Hernaiz, and the instruction of Mr. Al Jackson.
Managers Andre David, Tim 'Blackie' Blackwell, Mr. 'J.T.' Tamargo, and the combination of managers between St. Lucie and Norfolk in 1994. Obviously, for those that know me, I am talking about Mr. Landestoy and the effervescent Mr. Bobby Valentine.
Special thanks to Steve Phillips. May the smart organization out there give this man any opportunity in the future that he see pleasurable. A true genius in handling youth at the professional level of baseball in this day and age. Steve, you deserve every reward that this game can give you and your family. Thank you for all that you have done for the Mets, the game, and me. I would have never had my successes without your guidance. Look forward to saying hello in person very, very soon in '09. Hope the ESPN opportunities continue to unfold in your plans for the future if you don't get pack behind a desk with an organization.
Never too many thanks for being proud to be a former Met - thanks, again.
I didn't forget you Kooz. Never will.
God bless to all and see you at the ballpark!
