	Ex-Met, Yank, 75, dies; had memorable career Newsday, January 1, 2025 Lenny Randle was acquired from the Texas Rangers after he had violently attacked manager Frank Lucchesi, but he then went on to provide an unexpected spark to the 1977 Mets.
