Says Grant: Seaver Is Forcing Me To Trade Him
New York Daily News, May 8, 1977
Daily News columnist Dick Young firmly sided with the team in its dispute with Tom Seaver in 1977, and played a big part in Seaver's decision to ask to be traded. We see one of his anti-Seaver columns here, plus a typically bizarre Basement Bertha cartoon by Bill Gallo and an article about manager Joe Frazier's many attempts to find a productive lineup.
