I am the son of Frederick Senger (Rick) and just wanted to say how awesome it is to have at least had baseball in my life. He passed away April 30, 2009 but was always fond of his memories playing in the Mets Organization.

My father (Tom Whisner) and I both worked for his father in Baltimore, Maryland. I remember when I was 16 my father and I went to O.C. to help do an install with him and his father. Rick was always nice to me and my father told me Rick was a great baseball player and it was sad he got hurt and had to give up his dream. Sorry to hear he has passed away.
