Rusty Staub comes home on his grand slam in the first inning of Willie Mays' debut as a Met. Later in the game, Mays would steal the spotlight with a tie-breaking homer for a Mets victory over the Giants. It's good to see that the Daily News published this photo and gave Staub's big hit the attention it deserved. A grand slam certainly can't be ignored!
