The photo caption says Ron Darling steals second. Big mistake for a fine article.

Bobby, the caption under the picture of Ron Darling stealing second base is no mistake. The box score from this classic college game indicates that Darling did have a stolen base and that Brian Miller (also shown) was the St. John's shortstop that day. The stolen base had nothing to do with Ron's eleven no-hit innings with sixteen strikeouts, but it's evidently a photo from that game. However, a picture of Darling on the mound would have been more appropriate since his pitching was the real story.
