Mets Trade Hearn to KC: Gibbons, Lyons to make team

Who did the Mets get in exchange for Ed Hearn? A 24-year-old righthanded pitcher named David Cone. He was coming off a season where he had a 5.56 ERA and was expected to get a spot in the Mets bullpen. He would come to exceed those expectations.
