HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:

Big E
One of the suck twins that came from Philly, along with Toby "I Could Walk Bigfoot' Borland. Whined like hell when he got sent down to Triple A. Now pitching (if you can call it that) for the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League.

Rico Brogna was no superstar but he was a pretty good player for the Mets. So what were they thinking to trade him for this loser and Toby Borland. Could they have possibly gotten good scouting reports on these guys? They were hideous. Let's trade a starting first baseman for two long shot long relievers! Good move Joe! Go back to the nude beach!

The Mets learned the hard way in the Brogna trade. Never ever ever trade for a Phillies relief pitcher.

Last season Jordan pitched for the Independant Somerset (NJ) Patriots. I went to a game and asked him what happened in 1997. The response I got was "Ask Bobby Valentine, that MF had it out for". I guess you can say one thing about Bobby V. he knows bad pitchers when he see them.

Stan

Ricardo was arrested August 3, 2006 for trying to sell cocaine to an undercover federal agent. I guess he's not that good at selling drugs either.

Ricardo was and still is a GREAT baseball player and pitcher. Unfortunately, he was set up by a prime suspect in a drug dealing case, so that guy would get less time. And no Stan, he does not know how to sell drugs either. Never did.
