I hate to see Bubba go. We really did'nt see too much of him. One thing I'll remember forever is the game with St. Louis with the 10 greatest moments in Mets history. I took the family to that game, and Bubba hit a three-run homer into the bullpen in left. From my seat I saw the ball land in the bullpen and went nuts along with the rest of the crowd! Oh well. Good luck Bubba. I hope Donne Wall works out well for us.

It's a shame he got traded. He was a nice guy with power coming off the bench who had a few clutch hits in him. I expected him to be there for awhile since Matt Franco has done nothing lately. It's bad, he would have been a nice player.

It's a shame to see him go, he was my first favorite player ever! (I'm only eleven). He probably would have been really good if the Mets had ever given him a chance. I was at his first game with the Mets, and I had a great time! I hope that he comes back to the Mets someday, and that he'll get to play every day, even if it is with another team. I sure will miss him.

Why did they trade Trammell so fast? In my opinion, the first one to be traded should be either Benitez or Mahomes.

Yeah, and a misstep by Detroit management, and by Tampa Bay management...

I love his quote where he said he'd play for free if he could get 500 ABs.

I think that when the Mets traded Bubba Trammell to the padres it was a bonehead move. Because it seems like Donne Wall has been stinko for the Mets and also Bubba Trammell seems to have more home runs with the padres then all of the men that have played on the Mets outfield in 2001. Oh well, Hopefully steve phillips and the other front office people learned their lesson well. Since who knows, If the Mets had not traded Bubba Trammell maybe they could being doing better than they are now or maybe not.

One of Steve Phillips' worst moves. I loved Bubba even when he was with the Rays, and was elated when I heard that he was a Met. I knew if he was given playing time, he would be great. He proved it last year in SD, while Wall was struggling with injuries all season.

In a great move that will make me love Bubba forever, upset over a lack of playing time, he walked away from the Yankees a couple of weeks ago and is listed as AWOL. Does anyone have ay idea where he is???

One of my finest days ever at Shea: Trammell and Mike Bordick homering in their first Met at-bats. I was seated near the Mets dugout so I could see almost up close how psyched they both were by the fans during their curtain calls. Trammel ended up performing better than Bordick during the 2000 pennant run. His career ended in strange fashion. I wonder happened to him.

For all Bubba fans, don't give up. He is coming back this 2007 season. Look for him in the minors, because he is really determined to come back strong. Definitely a "Natural". Maybe he will have bubble gum in his pockets to throw at fans in the outfield.
