HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
July 3, 2002 Well I can say I was the first to post on Ty Walker. I was at his debut last night and he struggled, giving up the HR to Rolen. Its OK though, this kid may have a chance to contribute down the road.
July 4, 2002 I don't know how well this guy is gonna turn out, but he sure can sweat. And that was only in Philly, I'd hate to see how he handles the West Coast. Hernandez didn't shut up about the sweat pouring off him. Anyways, welcome to "the Miracles", Mr. Walker.
January 13, 2003 I scored Ty's first big-league win, which was aided by another Ty... Ty Wigginton, that is. Around the fourth or fifth inning, Wigginton made a nice leaping catch of a hard line drive that had double written all over it. Pitcher Ty, meanwhile, did a credible job that Saturday September afternoon.
