HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:

This guy is unbelievably good. Who would have thought that a 40-year-old who has had problems with velocity and control in the past would turn it around and throw consistent pitches at 90+ miles an hour? If Hernandez keeps this up, DeJean will have to fight to keep the job as Looper's setup man

When I see Roberto Hernandez (AKA: "Seiņor Smoke II" in my house) enter the game I have extreme faith that he'll get the job done. For an older pitcher, he is absolutely amazing. He has great stuff on the ball and is also able to blow it past batters. The Mets better snatch him up for another year.

It's great to see that he's back in a Met uniform. Bert is a good set-up man as shown by his performance last years. His numbers so far this year weren't as good as last year, but hopefully that's just because he was playing for a pathetic team in the Pirates.

This guy was great in 2005. He was like a new man, pitching better than he had in a few years. It was great to see he grew up a Mets fan. I was dissapointed they didn't re-sign him. But now that they have him back, he's not the same pitcher. He's not as good and can't be reliable in the 8th inning. He's no Duaner Sanchez.
