Hell of a pickup for the Mets. Omar and Willie are doing a great job of picking out the right players for the ballclub who they feel will actually produce when needed!

Absolutely unreal that he would attack the pitcher and catcher with a bat. Forget baseball, he needs to avoid jail.

Before a few nights ago, Offerman would probably be remembered as a decent, over-the-hill utility type. Now, he'll always be the guy remembered for bringing a bat to the mound when he charged it. He swung and missed at the pitcher's head...twice...before hitting the catcher's head on a backswing. He also took out two of the pitcher's fingers on that swing, and as of this writing has been suspended indefinitely and was arrested for aggravated assault. I guess we now have our own version of Izzy Alcantara.

Jose could have been a great player for many years but destroyed his life by losing his cool as a Long Island Ducks player. He made a bonehead decision of charging the mound with his bat. I feel bad for all the little kids at that game. What a shame!!

He routinely led the league in errors during the bulk of his career.
