May 7, 2007 So Del Unser is no longer the only Met whose name begins with U. And Lino's career ERA is no longer infinity.
May 24, 2007 Had an infinite ERA before joining the Mets. Had a cup of coffee, got his ERA below infinity and then was gone again to the minors. Two weeks later, he is suspended for 50 games for testing positive for steroids. Somehow, I think his cup of coffee will be all he had for the Mets, and will rank up there with the least remembered Mets of all time. It is pretty cool that (as of today), his bio was ranked 811 out of 812 most viewed bios. You go Lino! Only one Met less well known than you!
January 21, 2009 Glad he got called up and got an out so he did not have infinity for an ERA, but he proved to be no good then dumb or unlucky by testing positive for steriods.

October 11, 2009 And how much did Omar get the Mets front office to pay this guy for his "exceptional" performance?
October 28, 2009 Ten days or so at the major league minimum, I imagine, Dr. D.
August 24, 2013 When I hit this great site I always look at the least popular Mets. I usually have some vague recollection of all the players or at least know their name. This guy played in 2007? I have absolutely no recollection of this guy. I must have been out of town when he was on the team for his two games. Sorry Lino for not remembering you, but I hope your time with the Mets was fun and I'm sorry I missed your games.
