I worked for Mr. Walker (Herbie) at his summer home in Kennebunkport from 1965-1967! I was the boat boy and helped the groundskeeper, Spencer maintain Walkers Point. Mr. Walker was truly a joy to work for, he made it known what he expected and once he gained confidence in you he was a pleasure. He loved "his" Mets!! I also enjoyed knowing his wife Mary and the entire Bush family. Outings on the "Do Re Me" golfing and softball with the family were highlights!! Fun being part of the Walker/Bush family for three summers!
